Krista Boling
Vice President of Promotions, Marketing, Special Events and Customer Relations
Krista Boling

Krista Boling was promoted to Vice President of Promotions, Client Services, Retail & Special Event Operations in 2014. She is responsible for promoting Studio Operations departments via sponsorships with film festivals, award shows and participation with various industry organizations. In addition Boling oversees the Special Events department that provides on lot special event production to both internal and external clientele. As Vice President of Client Services, Boling ensures quality customer service to the Studio Operations departments customers by conducting client surveys, coordinating and designing acknowledgment gifts and promotional inventory. Her other responsibilities consist of monitoring press and publicity activity on the lot. Boling reports to Jeanne Cordova, Senior Vice President of Marketing, PR and Special Events.

Boling joined NBCUniversal in 2003 as a Marketing Representative handling the promotional marketing for the Studio Operations divisions. In 2005 she was promoted to Manager of Promotions, Press and Customer Relations. In 2009 she was promoted to Director of Promotions, Special Events and Customer Relations.  In 2012 she was promoted to Executive Director of Promotions, Special Events and Customer Relations. 

Boling received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCLA in 2002. She was the captain of the UCLA Women’s soccer team, leading the team to the NCAA Championship in 1999.

Mandy Philp
Senior Director of Publicity Event Production & Digital Marketing
Mandy Philp

Mandy Philp joined NBCUniversal in December of 2008 as Special Events Manager and was promoted to Senior Manager of Digital Marketing and Publicity Event Production in 2011. Now as Director of Digital Marketing and Publicity Event Production, she is responsible for maintaining the Universal Studios Lot website in addition to overseeing digital marketing efforts including social media for all departments. Philp is also responsible for planning all events taking place on the lot that promote Universal Studios content including press junkets and publicity shoots.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Philp was the West Coast Events Manager for Architectural Digest as well as an Advertising Associate at Esquire Magazine.

Philp received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Washington State University in 1999.

Terrie Jackson
Special Events Manager
Terrie Jackson

Terrie Jackson joined NBC Universal in June of 2019 as a Special Events Manager. She is responsible for managing, organizing and executing internal and third party special events, as well as event-based social media efforts on the Universal Studios Lot.

Prior to working in events, Terrie studied at California State University Long Beach where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in both Fashion Merchandising and Event Management in 2016. Upon graduating, she worked for the Long Beach Convention & Visitor's Bureau, NFL Network and as a Freelance Event Production Coordinator within various agencies in the Los Angeles area.

 

Samantha Frumenti
Special Events Coordinator
Samantha Frumenti

Samantha Frumenti joined NBCUniversal in June of 2017 as a Special Events and Marketing Coordinator. She is responsible for planning and executing both internal and external events on the lot, while assisting with various marketing projects. 

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, she was an intern for the NBC Entertainment Publicity department.

Samantha received her Bachelor's degree in Communications and Business from the University of Arizona in May of 2017.

Collin Mack
Special Events Coordinator
Collin Mack

Collin joined NBCUniversal in September of 2019 as a Special Events and Marketing Coordinator. He is primarily responsible for the planning and executing of both internal and external events on the lot, while also assisting with various marketing projects.

Prior to joining the NBCUniversal Special Events team, he previously worked for the Los Angeles Lakers in the Community Relations department, overseeing various community outreach programs and events for the Lakers organization.

Collin received his Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In May of 2019, he graduated from the USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism where he received his Master's degree in Communication Management.

Excited to share the Dolittle Press Junket that took place on the lot last week! The amazing team @glassengine with Production Designer @mswhittyone transformed our 1220 event space and took press into the film with an English garden entrance, a walk through Dolittle's study and a reveal of a ship in the hospitality area.

And finally.... our #1 event was the largest of the year! Taking over the entire New York Area as well as our Mexican and Western Facades, the Porsche Luft 6 event featured over 300 cars and 6,000 guests on a sunny Saturday in May. Congrats to the amazing team at @luftgekuhlt and Happy New Year! #universallotevents

Coming in hot at #2- Universal Pictures Holiday Block Party rocked their crowd with a performance by the Fab Four and tunes by DJ Este while guests ice skated, played games, indulged in tasty bites, got massages and were gifted sweatshirts printed onsite! #universallotevents

Another birthday celebration, this Sweet Sixteen transformed Stage 4 into a Met Gala themed party including ice cream fixtures, serpentine tables, and a sea of candles and florals, making this event #3 on our countdown!

At #4, the annual LA Screenings event for International Distribution was themed around the film "Downtown Abbey" and included a 1927 Phantom Rolls Royce once owned by Fred Astaire, dazzling chandeliers and servers in period costume. #universallotevents
