Having grown up in a show business family, Los Angeles native Kim Jimenez has spent her entire working life in Hollywood. In 1990, after attending both UCSD and UCLA, she began working at Larson Sound Center, where she started as a Receptionist. She eventually joined the Accounting department, and subsequently, became the Facility Manager. Ever eager to explore additional aspects of the business, she became an employee of Petfly Productions, where she served as the Post-Production Coordinator for their cadre of shows. In 2001, she joined the Soundelux and Todd AO sound family, where she worked until 2014. Her various titles included Facility Manager, Scheduler, and ultimately, Senior Vice President of Editorial Services.
Kim’s extensive career (24 years and counting) in many different aspects of the business, has given her an enviable insight into how the business runs. Her business acuity allows her to manage various projects simultaneously. A cinephile at heart, Kim is passionate about the movie making process and how to achieve the best product possible. She is excited about bringing her varied skill set to NBCUniversal.
